This year has the potential to be great for the golf world, it has been predicted.Writing for the BBC, Iain Carter said that there "should be no doubt" that 2010 could be a "vintage" 12 months for golf apparel clad gamers, despite the recent problems which have plagued the sport - such as high profile scandals and financial issues due to the economic downturn.
He went on to detail a number of occurrences which could lead to this year being a great one for the golfing world.
There are set to be new rules introduced over the size and shape of golf clubs, which could interest those keen to replenish their golf fashion wardrobe with new accessories for hitting the course.
Mr Carter went on to note that the 2009 Ryder Cup could be an interesting clash which is set to interest both hardcore golf fans and those who are attracted to the sport by big events.
The cup is due to be held between October 1st and 3rd, at the Celtic Manor Golf Resort.
