Daniel Chopra is leading the field at the Barclays Singapore Open, after playing a six-under-par 65 on the second round of the event today (October 30th).The 35-year-old Swedish player "produced a flawless card" after donning his golf apparel and taking to the course, said the tournament's official website and his play included six birdies.
Those playing in the tournament, which is taking place at the Sentosa Golf Club's Serapong course, could be glad of their waterproof golf apparel as the event has been hit by bad weather and lightning.
Ian Poulter, a golfer known for his interesting taste in golf fashion, is also taking part in the event.
He runs his own golf clothing line and often makes the golf news due to his wacky and brightly coloured golf fashion.
The Singapore Open has been won by eight Taiwanese players, six Americans, five Japanese, two Indians, four Filipinos and three Burmese, noted the event's official page.
