Ernie Els' recent golf fashion choices have been mocked.

A golf fashion pundit has issued a warning to Ernie Els after he sported translucent trousers at a recent event.Writing for Chapeau Noir Golf, PGA columnist Mike McAllister noted that the player's underwear was clearly visible thanks to his white golf apparel.
Forgiving Els' "crusade" to prompt the return of the double-pleated golf trouser to the "forefront" of golf fashion, Mr McAllister claimed the "insanity must stop" and urged someone to show the South African how he looked.
"Really, does anything look worse than a pair of white translucent golf pants?" he said.
Mr McAllister went on to advise Els to invest in a pair of flesh-coloured undergarments the next time he takes to the fairways with see-through pants on.
Earlier in the week, the golf fashion pundit criticised a decision by America's Bubba Watson to match suspenders with a belt during a recent long drive competition.
