Steve Elkington proved he was not past his prime at last weekend's US PGA while looking flash in some dapper golf clothing. The 47-year-old went with a purple golf shirt, complemented with a stylish red golf cap.
Elkington looked sophisticated in his dark golf trousers and black shoe combo as he battled his way up the leaderboard.
In a season which has seen the youth of the sport take the forefront, Elkington held his own against some of the world's top players.
The Australian had a chance to top the scoreboard at Whistling Straits, which would have made him the second-oldest major champion in the history of the sport.
Unfortunately, he was let down by an unlucky putt that lipped out on the 16th which caused him to perform his trademark air-kick in frustration.
Although he failed to clinch the victory at Whistling Straits, Elkington did manage to secure a spot in the first of the PGA Tour playoffs for the FedExCup.
