Montgomerie's team spent the morning modelling their Ryder Cup golf apparelGolf apparel for the European Ryder Cup was being modelled by the 2010 team this morning (Wednesday September 29th).

Writing for the Guardian, columnist Steve Busfield reported that Padraig Harrington along with team-mates Rory McIlroy, Edoardo Molinari and Ian Poulter, amongst others, all took part in modelling the team's wet weather gear earlier in the day.

The golf clothing features a blue colour scheme with minimalist white trim. An insignia on the breast rounds off the outfits.

Mr Busfield also reported that the rain was "chucking it down" today in Wales, an occurrence which, he believes, will favour the European team who are more experienced at playing in such weather than their American counterparts.

Earlier in the month, golf fashion columnist for the PGA Tour The Man in the Black Hat hailed the US team's Ryder Cup uniforms as "dapper".

Mr Busfield went on to reveal that players from both teams would be appearing at a gala dinner at Cardiff castle, where the Prince of Wales will be in attendance.
