Golf news: Tour qualifying nearing end.

The European Tour Qualifying School - Final Stage is due to start, with the event promising to be a "fascinating and nail-biting week".At the event, 156 golfers will be cut down to 30 at the PGA Golf de Catalunya in Girona, which is in Spain.
In total, 715 golfers entered the event in the beginning, all hoping to win the chance to don their golf clothing and head to the golf course at the 2010 Race to Dubai.
After the first stage of the school, 186 players were left, with a further 109 cut in the second stage, which took place last week.
From this Saturday (November 28th), a number of golf rounds will be held to whittle down the remaining players and decide who will be heading off to Dubai next.
Lee Westwood won the last Race to Dubai, after donning his golf clothing and taking to the course in the Dubai World Championship.
