John Daly's fans have faced criticism over their golf clothing.

Fans of American golfer John Daly have been criticised for the golf clothing they sport in homage to their preferred PGA Professional.Writing for the PGA Tour, columnist Fred Albers claimed that a visitor to Earth could be led to believe Daly's fans had dressed themselves in the dark or are colour blind.
"You can always pick out a John Daly gallery from a distance, as his fans increasingly wear the bright and flamboyant loudmouth golf apparel," he said.
Mr Albers went on to note that, despite the 44-year-old failing to keep pace with the leaders at this week's Frys.com Open, he had one of the largest fan followings at the event.
He also emphasised the popularity of golf fashion icon Rickie Fowler, who is well-known for his outlandish golf apparel.
Daly has a new golf game coming out this week, developed by Gusto Games and scheduled for release on Xbox 360, PC and PS3.
