Golf apparel brand signs deal.

Callaway Golf has signed a new deal with Perry Ellis International, it has been reported.The deal will see products from the golf clothing brand manufactured, designed and distributed by Perry Ellis, with the first designs from the brand to be shipped next year.
According to the Los Angeles Business website, the new team-up will see golf apparel from Callaway - which also makes golf clubs, golf balls and golf accessories - sold in department stores and dedicated sporting goods shops.
George Fellows, president and chief executive officer of Callaway Golf, said that Perry Ellis is "known as a worldwide leader" in the design and distribution of apparel and accessories.
"We are delighted to have found the right partner to help us more firmly position Callaway as a lifestyle brand," he said.
Perry Ellis International recently announced that it had seen large losses due to the economic downturn but is "taking steps to survive", notes the Miami Herald.
