Donning golf apparel and taking to the golf course is not as formal an affair as it used to be, it has been claimed.According to Golf Europe, the sport of golf has always been linked to fashion and while many golf clubs continue to have rules on what golf apparel is suitable to wear on their courses, golf apparel trends are now more accessible and less formal.
The group noted that those who like golf apparel which is "simple and elegant" could be in luck with the golf fashions set to be in trend next season.
"Polo shirts and knit pullovers with argyle patterns in grey and blue shades as well as classic stripe and diamond patterns keep men in fashion on the course," it said.
As well as this, female golfing fans could find their golf apparel needs are well catered for in today's market, the source commented.
