Memory blanket could be made from golf clothing.

Golf fans looking to upgrade their golf apparel but who are keen to hold on to the memories attached to their old golf clothing could find that making the items into a memory blanket is a good way to do so.

According to an article on World Golf, "before you pack the attic with dad's golf and bowling league shirts", a memory blanket could be considered.

Michelle Rubin, founder of Willow Creek, a company that makes such blankets, said that clothes have "so many memories".

She set up the company in 2003 after she had been sewing baby blankets for some time.

After the birth of her son, she found that she did not want to get rid of the clothes he had outgrown and the idea for the memory blanket was born.

In related golf clothing news, fashion house Calvin Klein has recently signed a deal which will see it team up with golf clothing brand Premium Golf Brands.
