Golf clothing could help golfers play better, it has been said. The right kind of golf clothes could help a player improve their game, it has been claimed.

Blogging on GolfSwingTrainerBeginning.com, one writer said that wearing "clever golf clothes" could improve the level of a golfer's game and could also help to keep watching fans amused.

Indeed, many famous golf players are noted for the interesting golf apparel which they often wear in tournaments.

As well as this, a number of golfers not only wear golf clothing to play the sport, but also spend their off-course time designing golf apparel or golf accessories.

Golf clothing fans are given a number of tips by the writer, including steering clear of golf apparel in the style of Ian Poulter, unless they wish to attract attention.

They also make a tongue-in-cheek suggestion to those who find keeping hold of their golf balls a problem.

"The idea is to take a pair of ridiculous golfing trousers, like those modelled here by Payne Stewart, then fill the voluminous interior with golf balls," the writer jokes.

Ian Poulter often draws the attention of sports writers due to his interesting on-course golf apparel, mostly notably his colourful golf trousers.
