New golf clothing sponsorship has been announced between Chorley's Nick Dougherty and Tommy Hilfiger Europe.

Golf clothing sponsorship has been agreed for an extended period by Chorley player Nick Dougherty, reports the Lancashire Telegraph. The sports star recently tied for 14th place at Perth's Vines Resort in the Johnnie Walker Classic.
Following his competitive placing, his golf clothing sponsorship deal with Tommy Hilfiger has been extended.
Dougherty's placing outside the top ten in the event belies the fact that he finished just five strokes off the winning pace set by Danny Lee of New Zealand.
However, the finish was good enough to secure an extension of the Hilfiger deal for the 26-year-old player.
The sponsorship was initially established in 2006 with Tommy Hilfiger's European brand.
For performance golf clothing, Glenmuir's range of golf waterproofs might be just the thing for players hoping to cope with the remaining winter months.
The golf waterproofs are manufactured out of Glenmuir's functional fabric Rain Bloc, helping to drive away unwanted moisture.
