Ian Poulter, a golfer known as much for his on-course golf apparel as his career successes, has had the good times and bad times in his career detailed. In an article on the Telegraph website, Nick Pearce noted that the golfer's career has been a colourful one.
Accompanying the piece is a picture which the writer commented showed Poulter sporting a "particularly bold pair" of golf trousers.
The golf trousers, which Poulter teamed with a red golf t-shirt, featured a busy floral pattern on a black background.
According to Mr Pearce, Poulter's career highs have included him scooping the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year award in 2000 - his first year on the European Tour - and his part in the European Ryder Cup Team which beat the USA in 2004.
The newspaper also pointed out that Poulter is one of the most popular sportsmen on Twitter, boasting more than 600,000 followers.
As well as taking to the golf course, Poulter runs IJP Design, a golf clothing firm.
