Glenmuir golf apparel brand wins Foremost award.

Scottish golf clothing firm Glenmuir has won the award for Best Apparel Supplier 2009 from golf business group Foremost, it has been reported.

Fibre2Fashion reported that the award is voted for by more than 1,000 PGA professionals who work within the Foremost group.

It is the first time that the golf apparel brand has won the prize.

Managing director of Glenmuir Colin Mee said: "We're absolutely delighted. Our team has worked closely with Foremost to support their members in a very challenging global economic climate and it is fantastic that this has been recognised by the pros themselves."

He said that the accolade is a "terrific pat on the back" for the team at the Scottish golf apparel firm.

Among the golf fashion products which the firm offer are male and female golf shirts, argyle golf sweaters and golf trousers, all of which could prove to be an ideal golf gift for a game-loving friend or relative this festive season.
