The £300,000 prize money French golfer Christian Cevaer takes home after winning the European Open could go some way to boosting his tournament wardrobe with new golf apparel.

French golfer Christian Cevaer found his golf clothing sprayed with champagne yesterday (May 31st) as he secured first place in the European Open. With many newspapers predicting Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy to take the crown, the win by Cevaer came as a shock.
He beat England's Steve Webster, Spaniard Alvaro Quiros and Scottish Gary Orr at the London Club's final hole to secure the title.
The win is Cevaer's first since the Spanish Open in 2004, although he may want to buy himself some new golf clothing should he find himself once again victorious and facing another shaken bottle of champagne.
His £300,000 prize money could certainly allow him to splash out on other golf apparel for his next tournament.
"I made a point that no matter what happened just enjoy my golf, enjoy my skills and hang in there," Cevaer stated.
The win has pushed him up from the ranking of 449th best player in the world by more than 300 places.
