The golf clothing set to be worn by Tiger Woods at the British Open has been revealed by one sports writer.

While the outcome of the contest is anyone's guess, the golf fashion to be sported by Tiger Woods at the next British Open has "been set in stone" for more than a year, one writer notes.

According to New York Times golf writer Bill Pennington, the golf trousers, golf shirts and golf hats which Woods will wear have been meticulously chosen, months in advance.

Mr Pennington reveals what he claims Woods will be wearing when he takes to the golf course at the British Open this weekend.

On Thursday (July 23rd), his golf shirt will be navy blue and striped.

The next day he will wear a coral colour shirt followed by a white golf shirt on Saturday.

Sunday will see Woods don black golf trousers teamed with an argyle golf shirt in red, Mr Pennington claims.

The golfer who is victorious at the British Open will win the prestigious Claret Jug, which was made in 1873.
