Cumbrian golf clubs reeling over theft of golf clothing and golf accessories.

Golf clothing and golf accessories worth thousands of pounds have been stolen in three separate raids in Cumbria, it has been reported.According to the News and Star, locker rooms at golf clubs in Carlisle, Brampton and Silloth have been broken into during a three-day wave of thefts.
In total, golf clubs and golf apparel worth around £6,000 was stolen from a golf club in Silloth and a further six sets of golf clubs stolen from a club in Carlisle.
Representatives from the Carlisle golf club estimate that the items could be worth as much as £1,000.
"You always get the odd incident from time to time but this is different altogether. It was obviously well planned. But compared to what they could have taken we were quite lucky really," said secretary Roger Johnson.
Meanwhile, a man from Scotland has been jailed after he stole a set of golf clubs - and then tried to sell them to the owner's estranged wife, reported Herald Scotland.
