Many young golfers are interested in golf fashion.

Golf clothing and fashion is an important part of the game for many players, it has been said.

Writing for My Digital FC, Shveta Bhagat reports the golf is "more a lifestyle" than a sport and that golf fashion is part of this.

Designer Gayatri Khanna, who has recently created a line of golf clothing for the Mercedes Trophy 2009, told the site that in golf, women want to look both classy and glamorous.

Ms Bhagat says that player Natalie Gulbis often sports "carefully matched" ensembles when she takes to the golf course.

Indian golfer Shweta Galande told the source that she likes her golf fashion to be comfortable.

"I love to wear blue, yellow or pink. On a tournament day bright blue works for me, so I wear everything in that colour," she comments.

Many golfers are noted for their on course style, with Ian Poulter know for his outlandish golf clothes.
