The landscape of golf fashion is changing, it has been claimed.

The staples of golf clothing are growing increasingly varied and unique, it has been claimed.

Writing for the Khaki Crusader blog, columnist Annemarie Dodd claimed "there's an evolution of golf style happening right now" and pointed to the golf apparel worn at the Masters last week as evidence.

She welcomed a move away from baggy golf fashion and urged fans to watch as the sport's "style landscape" starts to change shape this year.

"The fit and colour of a polo have never been so important and interesting. There's also greater respect for an individual's personal style - there's no need to dress like what you think others expect of and from you," said Ms Dodd.

She went on to promote the golf clothing worn by Rickie Fowler, praising his brightly-coloured polo as "fantastic".

In a previous post for the publication, the pundit expressed her approval of the decreasing length of polo sleeves sported by some players at the Masters.
