A golf fashion blogger has praised the efforts of the US team in this year's Ryder Cup.

The 2010 US Ryder Cup team's golf fashion efforts at this year's event have outshone that of their European counterparts, according to one golf fashion blogger.

Writing for his golf fashion blog, the Khaki Crusader spoke of the great atmosphere at the event and praised the picturesque Welsh countryside.

He described the Ryder Cup's opening ceremonies as a veritable golf fashion battleground, with the well-dressed American team coming out on top.

"The boys from the states came out gunning," he said. "Never has an American team come in like this one and beat the Euros at their own game," said the Khaki Crusader.

The golf apparel enthusiast went on to note that US team members Phil Mickelson and Rickie Fowler did credit to their red khaki uniforms, despite his previously mixed feelings about the ensemble.

In a previous blog post, the Khaki Crusader unveiled the US team's Saturday outfit for the event, which was met with widespread critical acclaim.
