Beards 'becoming more popular' on TourAmateurs seeking golf fashion tips may not want to draw the line under their golf apparel.

In addition to seeking out the best golf clothing, it may be pertinent to examine other areas that can influence their aesthetic.

Facial hair is one such issue, which was recently examined by Khaki Crusader columnist Sean Hotchkiss.

He noted that beards are becoming more and more popular on tour and pointed to some notable examples.

Mr Hotchkiss pointed to Graeme McDowell as one prominent proponent of stubble and also made mention of Raphael Jacquelin and described his facial hair as "perfectly manicured".

Golf fashion icon Ryan Moore was also noted as a beard fan, with the columnist praising him for his "razorless rationale" and trend-setting chic.

Amateurs may also want to consider a polo shirt, as this fixture was previously noted as a returning favourite amongst professionals by Mr Hotchkiss in a prior article for the website.
