Forward-thinking golf clothing pioneers have been praised in the form of sleeveless cardigans. In a recent blog, golf fashion columnist the Khaki Crusader promoted young golf professionals Ryan Moore and Luke Donald as being at the cutting edge of golf clothing.
"While I think the older dudes would look sharp in a sleeveless cardigan, this is more of a must-get item for the younger set," the Khaki Crusader said.
He noted that both Moore and Donald were wearing cardigans at Cog Hill's BMW Championship last weekend.
The columnist went on to compare Moore's look to that of Jesper Parnevik, who was renowned for combining a cardigan and necktie to great effect.
Khaki Crusader also noted that the sleeveless cardigan makes a "stylish" addition to any golfing wardrobe, in addition to suiting most climates.
In a previous blog post, the columnist gave golf fashion fans a first look at the 2010 Ryder Cup uniforms for the American team.
