The right golf apparel could help improve a golfer's game.

Those taking to the golf course in new golf apparel could find that thinking too much about shots has a negative impact on their game, it has been reported.New research from St Andrews University and US scientists from Michigan shows that over-analysing a shot can make a golfer's game worse.
The survey saw 80 golfers take various shots until they were successful.
In total, the players who talked about how they were going to take the shots before doing so took twice as long.
Michael Anderson, psychology professor at St Andrews University, said: "This effect was especially dramatic in skilled golfers who were reduced to the level of performance of novices after just five minutes of describing what they did."
According to the researchers, the drop in performance could be down to "verbal overshadowing", which sees the brain concentrate less on the functions which control physical action and more on language centres.
