A golf fashion blogger has examined waterproof golf clothing

A golf fashion writer has looked at the waterproof offerings from various golf clothing manufacturers.

In an effort to find the "perfect" waterproof gear, golf fashion blogger Chapeau Noir Golf issued a tweet asking for suggestions as to the best outdoor wear available on the market.

After receiving a less-than-enthusiastic response to the question, Chapeau Noir postulated that high-end waterproof golf apparel is mainly purchased by people trying to squeeze as much play as possible out of a golfing holiday.

"[Golfers] make such a purchase such as this as they are about to embark on a golf to Scotland or Ireland, and don't want to miss a single day on the links," said the writer.

In a recent blog post, golf fashion writer the Khaki Crusader examined what went wrong with the US Ryder Cup team's waterproofs as they were forced to purchase new outdoor equipment during this year's event.
