Golf fans and locals alike are delighted with the recent piece of golf news.The news that one of golf's most traditional tournaments, the British Open, is to return to Muirfield has been warmly welcomed by a number of businesses in the local area, with many recognising the range of benefits it brings to the region, the Scotsman reports.

Indeed, spectators at the championship may choose to look the part while watching the pros out on the course and choose to dress in traditional golfing apparel for their day spectating.

And with a number of golf courses on offer throughout East Lothian, spectators may also find themselves presented with the opportunity to don their own golf apparel and take in a round of their own while staying in the region.
