As the Spanish Open gets into full swing, one player has truly made golf news.

Despite suffering from a double bogey, Soren Hansen recovered to break a new course record this week.Dressed in traditional golf apparel for the event, the Dane led the Spanish Open after the first day thanks to a nine under par 63 - a new record at the course.
"It was an unbelievable round and it's an honour to set the record on such a top-notch course," the player told reporters after completing the day's play.
Hansen started with a double bogey six on the first hole of the day - and when this is taken into consideration, the success of the day truly comes to light.
But despite leading the table at the end of day one, Thomas Levet took the lead today (May 1st) after just five holes.
The Frenchman donned a dark golf sweater on the course as he completed a five under par 67 on the second round of the Spanish tour.
