The start date for the construction of Donald Trump's new golf course has been revealed today.

According to reports, the building of the new course will begin in November of this year.

The new course is set to be built in Aberdeenshire and will form part of the Menie Estate development, a complex which is to include two golf courses, a hotel, 500 houses and almost 1,000 holiday homes.

Plans have been in the pipeline for three years and it is predicted that the golf course will cost £1 billion to construct.

Teeing off in Scotland could be a chilly experience for golfers, who may find that an outfit of warm golf apparel, which could include golf gloves, helps them keep cosy and play better on the course.

In related news, the Loughborough Echo recently reported that a golf course in the area has been "spruced up" after local people clubbed together to help redesign aspects of the course and decorate the golf pavilion.
