Luke Donald is hoping he can don his golf apparel and carry his good form over from last week's Northern Open Trust at the Riviera Country Club to the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.The PGA Tour event is teeing off on Thursday (February11th) at the famous Californian venue and the Englishman is looking to the confidence gained from his last performance to give his prospects a boost.
He finished in second place in the Northern Trust Open - two shots behind world number two Steve Stricker - after carding an impressive 14-under-par 270.
Commenting on his tactics for the Pebble Beach tournament, he said he is going to "just go about my business and do what I know I need to do to keep getting better and hopefully I can have another good week".
He added that he will take a lot of confidence from his second-place finish last week, but will ensure it will not change his expectations in terms of results.
