Fisher has placed first in the 3 Irish OpenEnglish golfer Ross Fisher's golf fashion was in fine form as he won the Irish Open at Killarney.

The Surrey golfer sported a stylish golf cap alongside a sky blue golf shirt. He complemented his outfit with a dapper pair of checked golf trousers and chic white golf shoes.

Fisher fought off stiff competition from Irish favourite Padraig Harrington, who issued a late challenge to finish seven under par.

Harrington's late effort was not enough to stall Fisher, who went on to hold the top spot and bag the €500,000 (around £400,000) winner's cheque.

Commenting on his victory Fisher said: "It just feels great to come out on top against such a world class field."

The victory was a welcome one for Fisher who, despite having a superb year in 2009, had yet to show a return to form until his recent second placing at the the BMW International.
