Fleetwood looked beautiful in blue as he won the championship
Sporting some azure golf apparel, Lancastrian Tommy Fleetwood was definitely not feeling blue as he triumphed over Surrey's Warren Harmston in the 36-hole English Amateur Championship Final at Little Aston.

The new champion showed off his golf fashion, coupling dark blue golf trousers with a dazzling light blue golf shirt.

Harmston, who was in control for much of the round, sported a dark golf sweater along with dark golf trousers and a modest light golf shirt.

Fleetwood was credited by his opponent for holing the right putts at the right time and turning the game completely around from being down by two.

The new champion said of his victory: "I was shocked to be down this afternoon and it didn't look promising. I was thinking all the way, I didn't want to end my amateur career on a low."

Fleetwood's victory comes in the year that the English Golf Union is celebrating the 80th anniversary of the championship event.
