America's Bubba Watson lost to German golfer Martin Kaymer, who looked stylish in his subdued golf clothing.German golfer Martin Kaymer managed to look slick in his golf apparel as he beat American Bubba Watson in a playoff for the US PGA Championship.
The 21-year-old seemed quietly confident in his understated light blue golf shirt, following a hard day's play which saw him tied with the American after 72 holes.
He complemented his outfit with an understated dark golf cap and matching golf trousers as he took to the field for the playoff.
An exciting extra round saw the duo trade birdies on the first two holes before the German edged ahead following a drop shot by Watson.
The 21-year-old said of his victory: "I don't realise what has just happened - I just won my first major and I am just on tour for four years. I have goosebumps."
Kaymer burst onto the professional scene in 2005 after a highly successful career as an amateur. His latest win earns him a place in the history books as the second German ever to win a major PGA event.
