Golf news: A renovation of a golf course is to include holes based on Victorian history.

A golf course in the north-east of England is set to undergo a makeover which will see a number of its holes based on key events in Victorian history, it has been reported.Journal Live said that a crazy golf course in Jubilee Park, County Durham, has been madeover to represent a number of events which happened during Queen Victoria's reign.
On the first hole of the course, the accession of Victoria to the throne is marked with information panels giving golf apparel clad golfers facts about the event, which took place in 1837.
When golfers move on to the second hole, they will be greeted by a 4ft Maori head, which is designed to mark the claiming of New Zealand by Britain.
Golfers may also want to tread carefully in their golf shoes on the second hole, as it also features plants which are from New Zealand.
In other golf news, artists' impressions of a new golf course created by billionaire Donald Trump were released yesterday (September 15th) which could give golfers a taste of what they might expect when donning their golf apparel and teeing off at the new venue.
