Sean O'Hair succeeded in claiming victory at the Quail Hollow championship - welcome news for the golf player ahead of the birth of his third child.

Thanks to enjoying success at Quail Hollow, Sean O'Hair has climbed to his highest-ever position in the official world rankings.

Victory on the PGA Tour event at Quail Hollow has taken the player to 12th position in the rankings, following a continuous line of improvement for the young golfer.

Despite being only 26, the player has played the game at a professional level for the last ten years and in that time has continued to show his talent.

But he has suffered a number of losses over the course of his professional career, despite leading in a number of different tournaments.

Nonetheless, the player remains positive about his experiences and realises that losing against players such as Tiger Woods does not make a failure.

This latest victory gives the player greater hope of achieving his goals, he said. "My goals are to win major championships and win big tournaments. I feel like I'm finally on my way to getting there," he said following this Quail Hollow victory.
