Golfer dons golf apparel and tees to victory in weekend tournament.

Golfer Rafael Cabrera Bello has risen from 220th in the world golf rankings to 127th, after playing in a tournament in Austria over the weekend.

After putting on his golf shoes and taking to the course at the Austrian Open, Bello can now celebrate after jumping 93 places in the world golf rankings.

The win was Bello's first on the European Tour, which he secured with a closing round of 60 that the Belfast Telegraph called "sensational".

He took to the golf course eight shots off the lead in the final round but came back to achieve an 11-under-par closing round, which is the lowest ever score on the European Tour.

Speaking to Golf Monthly, Spaniard Bello said: "It's just amazing - I played the best golf of my life and I can't believe it. I was so far back I wasn't thinking about winning."

After his victory, Bello rose into the top ten in the Ryder Cup rankings.
