Golfer Ian Poulter, who is well known for his interesting taste in golf clothing, has won the Singapre Open.The victory is his first win on the European Tour since 2006 and was won by one shot, with Liang Wen-chong of China coming in second.
Third was Scott Hend of Australia who donned his golf apparel and took home a final score of eight under par.
Poulter's winning score was ten under par, after securing 72 on his final round in the tournament.
Commenting on his win, Poulter said that the victory came at the right time due to the Ryder Cup points scoring beginning.
"I wanted to come out over the next seven weeks - five of which are counting for world ranking points and Ryder Cup points - and put as much money on the board as I possibly could," he said.
Ian Poulter is often noted for his colourful golf apparel and runs his own golf clothing firm.
