Golfers set to receive 25 per cent less if they don their golf clothing and tee off to victory in Dubai.

The prize money for the Dubai World Championship, which is a season-long bonus pool, is to be cut by 25 per cent, it has been announced.The player who dons their golf apparel and is victorious in the bonus pool, which is also known as the Race to Dubai, will now scoop $1.5 million (£918, 329) with the winner of the related tournament scooping $1.25 million.
European tour chief executive George O'Grady said: "The European tour has offered to reduce the prize money to reflect the current worldwide economic position and we will jointly examine prize money levels in future years in the light of this developing global situation."
Those who finish in the top 60 of the Race to Dubai will qualify for the Dubai World Championship, with the top 15 players getting to take home a share of the bonus pool.
So far, players Martin Kaymer of Germany and Brit Paul Casey are among those leading the bonus pool.
