Westwood puts to victory in golf apparel on Dubai course.

Lee Westwood is celebrating after his victory at the Dubai World Championship yesterday (November 22nd), a success which now sees him at the top of the European golf pile for the season end.

After donning his golf clothing and taking to the golf course, Westwood shot a 64 to leave him 23 under par at the finish, in a final round which also saw the player get eight birdies.

This score is a course record and saw Westwood beat closest rival Ross McGowan by six shots. His victory has scooped him almost £740,000 - an amount which could tempt him to give his golf fashion wardrobe a revamp.

Rory McIlroy also put on his golf fashion and took part in the tournament, finishing third overall.

Commenting on his win, Westwood said: "It's as good as I've ever played, especially under this pressure. It gives me so much confidence and it's definitely the biggest moment of my career."
