Chip Beck gets new golf clothing sponsor.

Golf star Chip Beck has signed a new sponsorship deal with Diatect International Corporation that will see his golf clothing branded with the name of insect control product Results, it has been announced.

Items of Beck's golf accessories, such as his tour bag, will also show the logo of the company.

Beck, who is from Fayetteville, North Carolina, has previously played in the Ryder Cup and is a member of the Professional Golfer's Association.

He played in the PGA Tour for twenty years, from 1979 to 1999, winning four times.

Previously ranked among the top ten players in the world, Beck has also come second in two US Opens.

He commented that as a pro golfer, he was concerned by environmental issues.

"This is the perfect time for me to team up with Diatect and its Results products," he noted.

Beck was born in 1956 and has eight children. He became a pro golfer in 1978.
