Men's fashion for 2009 could feature a number of trends more often seen on the golf course, it has been reported.

According to Female First, a Desperate Housewives-esque collection shown at this year's Clothes Show Live hinted at golf sweaters and flat caps as upcoming trends for men next season.

The theme was very much English gentlemen, with tweed jackets also worn by the models treading the catwalk at the event.

What to wear when playing golf is an important issue for any player and as the winter sets in players could find this issue becomes more apparent.
