Golfer's apparel is fashion forward
Published: 21 April 2009
Golfer Brian Gay has described his on-course golf apparel as fashion forward while talking to the Savannah Morning News. The source notes that during the recent PGA Tour Mr Gay gave "one of the most dominant performances in years" when he took to the course.
He talks to the newspaper about his choice of outfit for the tournament, which was a white golf shirt with an aqua stripe and "cool lime green" golf trousers.
As well as this, he was seen sporting a Scottish tartan golf jacket, notes the article.
However, the golfer doesn't seem to mind about the clash of green and red in his golf fashion.
"I wasn't worried about it. It was my last clean outfit I had for the week. I was planning on wearing the pants. I wasn't going to worry about the jacket," he said.
In related golf news, the Times recently noted that many companies have sponsored golfer Padraig Harrington during his lucrative career, with the logos of firms such as Oceanico and Titleist adorning his golf clothing.
