New captain to don golf apparel and head up Wiltshire team.

A golfer who has been club captain of his local club has spoken of his desire to end his career on a high.Ali James, current team captain of a seven-man strong squad from the Cumberwell Park club in Wiltshire, told This is Wiltshire that helping the county scoop the accolade of England's best would be the perfect way to hang up his golf clothing and pass on his captaincy.
This weekend, Mr James will take his team to play against other squads from all over the country in the English Golf Union County Finals.
Representing the south-west, the Wiltshire team will tee off against teams from the north, Midlands, and the south east.
After the tournament, Mr James will pass his captaincy on to Kevin Philips.
Mr James said that the chance to give up his role on a high note is a "little extra bit of motivation to do well".
The English Golf Union County Finals will take place in Chipping Sodbury golf club.
