Golfer looks forward to next on course event.

Golf player Camilo Villegas is "looking forward to being the centre of attention" this week, reports Golf Online, which his stylish argyle golf sweater may help him to achieve.

The site says that after attracting a good level of support on the US PGA Tour, Villegas is set to take to the course at the WGC-CA Championship this week.

Pictured wearing an argyle golf sweater and a golf shirt on the website, Villegas is quoted as saying that both his fans and the media have been good to him.

He said: "I believe I've accomplished my goals of getting better every year. A little bit of that, a little bit of luck - a little bit of everything just falls into place and you end up on top."

The site notes that if Villegas continues his success he could be a "top contender" for Geoff Ogilvy's crown.
