Extra golf fashion items on the shopping list of golfer who made contest finals.

South Korean golfer Byeong-Hun An was forced to stock up on several items of extra golf apparel after a surprise win which saw him play in the final of the US Amateur contest.

Speaking to the Associated Press, Byeong-Hun An said that after he won the last four holes when taking to the course on Saturday (29th August), he had to go out and buy some new golf fashion items as he did not have enough suitable apparel left.

He told the source that after only hoping to get into the first round of the US Amateur, he only packed five golf clothing outfits.

Before his golf apparel shopping trip, Byeong-Hun An had "exhausted" a golf fashion outfit consisting of a royal blue polo short and a pair of white golf shorts, noted the news provider.

His win sees him become the youngest golfer to ever put to victory in the US Amateur, at 17.
