Golfer Stacy Lewis has signed a new golf appareal deal with Fila Golf.

Golf star Stacy Lewis has signed a deal with Fila Golf which will see her become the face of the golf apparel company, it has been reported.

She will represent the firm in North America for the LPGA Golf Tour.

Lewis will play on the tour as a rookie and could be a potential frontrunner for the Rookie of the Year.

"As soon as I tried on the new Fila Golf shirts for the first time, I knew this was going to work. I know that Fila has been a globally recognised high design brand for a long time worn by legendary athletes like Bjorn Borg," she said.

Mitchell Fersten, president of Fersten Worldwide - which licenses Fila Golf - said that Lewis was exactly who the brand was looking for to advertise their golf clothing.

In related news, Justin Timberlake was recently noted for his on-green style, but after being named Most Stylish Man in America by GQ, he admitted he would only wear a golf sweater on the course.
