Teenage golfer Danny Lee has attended a press conference which saw him don some stylish items of golf apparel.

Writing for the Otago Daily Times, golf writer Hayden Meikle says that Lee's appearance in the media tent of a recent golf event showed the "striking maturity" he has for his age.

The writer notes that "everyone wants a piece of this new young star".

Commenting on the golfer's golf fashion choices, Meikle notes that he attended the event wearing a white v-neck golf sweater, blue pinstripe golf trousers and black golf shoes.

"His blonde-highlighted black hair sprouts out of a Callaway golf visor," it is noted.

At the press event, Lee was asked about how he copes with the recent attention.

He said that his fans help to cheer him up when he misses putts.
