Swedish golfer Henrik Stenson has taken his golf clothing off on the course in a bid to keep it free from mud, it has been reported.According to the Associated Press, Stenson was searching for ways to try and keep his golf clothing clean after taking a "wayward tee shot" which landed in a muddy patch.
So, he stripped down to his boxer shorts, announcing to the stunned crowd that he was now "just the way God created me".
The news source quips that this is not completely true, unless Stenson was born holding a golf wedge and wearing boxers and golf gloves.
"If you are saving a shot, that has to be worth taking off your shirt and trousers," Stenson said.
It was recently reported that the tight-fitting golf apparel of golfer Camilo Villegas was a hit among his fans.
According to the Sun Sentinel, the golf apparel showed off the golfer's toned body to his fans.
