As proposals to build a number of new golf courses on the island of Cyprus are announced, golf fans planning on taking a trip to the destination could find that some new golf apparel is a good buy.

Often, differences in temperature can have an impact on the form of a golfer on the course.

British players planning on travelling to visit the new courses could find that golf fashion items which keep them cool while teeing off are a wise choice.

Paul Collins, property editor at BuyAssociation.co.uk, said that the new courses on the island could also help to boost Cyprus' property market.

Figures from the Cyprus Tourist Organisation recently showed that around 1.3 million people from the UK travel to the island each year.

Golfers keen to don their golf apparel and take to the course more often could consider investing in a holiday home near one of the new courses and taking regular breaks there.
