Two pro golfers have signed deals which will see them wear golf apparel branded with the names of certain companies for several years, it has been reported.According to The Star, golfer Anthony Kim - who is currently ranked as the 11th best player in the world - has signed a deal with the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC).
The site notes that the golfer will now carry an RBC golf bag for three years.
It goes on to say that "almost all" of the golfers who are sponsored by sports brand Nike are dressed in Nike golf fashion from head to toe.
"Kudos to RBC, which said it wanted to help reverse the fortunes of a tournament on rubbery legs. Hitching its marketing star to Kim should help it move more strongly into the US market," the source comments.
In related news, the Arizona Daily Star recently reported on a school in the city which held a fair which showcased inventions made by pupils.
One of the inventions detailed is a caddie hat which could help golfers keep track of where their golf accessories are while teeing off.
