Golfer's golf clothing causes a stir.Professional golfer Camilo Villegas caused quite a scene when he first appeared in a golf tournament, it has been claimed - and it was all to do with his golf fashion wear.

The Sun Sentinel reports that Villegas "rocketed on to the golf scene" in 2006 when he finished second in a tournament of which Tiger Woods was the eventual winner.

And according to the site, Villegas' "colourful and tight-fitting" golf clothing caused a stir among fans.

His performance "signalled the possible birth of a golf superstar", notes the newspaper.

The source says that his tight-fitting golf apparel showed off his "chiselled" physique, going on to point out that by the end of last year's PGA Tour he was the tour's "hottest player".

An article on the Examiner recently noted that when teaching young children to play golf, parents could be wise to make sure the golf equipment they use is the right size.
