Gordon Brand Jnr wore white golf trousersAll eyes were on Gordon Brand Jnr on the Senior Tour as he produced a vintage performance at the Matrix Jersey Classic and looked the part in crisp golf apparel.

He was all smiles as he notched up an eagle and seven birdies on the first day of the competition, dressed in white golf trousers, a striped polo shirt and white cap.

It was a beautiful day at the British event and his summery outfit fitted the mood well and he appeared to be justifiably happy with his nine-under-par 63 score - equalling the lowest par of the season set by Bill Longmuir.

"I hit the right shots at the right time and putted well. Sometimes I didn't even need to go to pins as I was that comfortable on the greens," Brand Jnr remarked.

Meanwhile, on-form senior golfer Boonchu Ruangkit opted for much darker golf fashion when he hit the links, combining grey golf trousers with a red top.
